May 2012: BeyondPolio.org, a program of the Jonas Salk Legacy Foundation and Spencer Trask completed its first Innovation Challenge to identify novel solutions for IPV polio vaccine delivery.  Mike Docherty of Venture2 has been an active leader in forming and launching this non-profit open innovation effort.

April 2012: Mike Docherty of Venture2 provided opening presentation on "Open Innovation" at the China Global OTC Innovation Conference in Kun Ming China, co-sponsored by CNMA (China Non-prescription Medicines Association) and GlaxoSmithKline.
